Equine Assisted Learning
EAL incorporates horses experientially for emotional growth and learning. It is a collaborative effort between a Mental Health Professional, an Equine Professional and horses working with participants to address learning/treatment goals.

Horses are our tools, and the arena is your classroom; providing participants a completely new environment to experience individual and group challenges.

Just as people use non-verbal cues to communicate and interact, so do horses. Their reactions to our emotion, presence and body language are always honest, giving truthful insight to our self-awareness and relationships.

Many exercises involve teamwork, critical thinking and problem solving skills in an environment outside our daily norm. Working to achieve a perceived goal, the horses help reveal the processes we use to achieve that goal.

This is your chance to navigate a horse as you would navigate everyday life, drawing your own connections in the area to the outside world.
